RAF Air Cadets star on BBC The One Show

On Wednesday, 7th November three Air Cadets will be joining Honorary Group Captain Carol Vorderman on the famous The One Show red sofa, to share with viewers their once in a life time trip to Texas, USA to visit the Lockheed Martin F35 aircraft production line.

Aired at 7pm on BBC1, local Air Cadet Lauren Rynsburger who is a member of 150 (City of Oxford) Squadron, can be seen explaining why she loves being an Air Cadet and recounting her experiences from this once in a lifetime trip to Texas. Lauren secured the place having been named best female cadet in May 2018 and was presented with the ATC 75 Sword by Commandant Air Cadets, Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty.

Cadet Warrant Officer Rysnburger has been an active member of Thames Valley Wing and progressed through the aerospace opportunities available to the RAF Air Cadets, including the BTEC Diploma in Aviation Studies and the Qualified Aerospace Instructors Course.
